DNV GL’s Energy Transition Outlook 2018 – Power Supply & Use
DNV GL’s Energy Transition Outlook provides an independent forecast of our energy future through to 2050, looking at energy demand and supply globally, and in 10 world regions, including Southeast Asia. The inaugural Outlook (2017) generated widespread interest and discussion. This year, the forecast has been updated with new data and, while the conclusions remain broadly the same, there are significant new insights. The Power Supply & Use report explores certain themes in greater depth; these include electrification of energy demand; energy infrastructure; energy storage and other flexibility options; energy efficiency; and the impact of digitalization.
World Nuclear Performance Report 2018 Asia Edition
Nuclear generation in Asia has increased by 44% over the last five years, producing nearly a fifth of the world’s nuclear electricity, and two thirds of new reactors due start up in 2018 and 2019 are being built in Asia. The World Nuclear Performance Report 2018 Asia Edition will report the construction and operational performance of nuclear reactors in the region and worldwide. The report will also contain a review of recent nuclear news and case studies highlighting examples of reactor construction and operation.
